The Splice Tape with Splice Shim allows you to splice the black carrier tape and the covertape in one process. The process has been to splice the black carrier tape with the splicing shim. You then would remove the spliced black tape from the tool and place a SMD Tape Connector to connect the covertape. Click here for a Step by Step Instructions for use on your SMD reels to be spliced.
