Tapesplice is focused on providing SMT splice solutions and products including smt splice tapes (single/double), splice shims, cover tape connectors, leader tape extenders, and take-up reels – all made especially for use in high-speed pick-and-place machines.

⁠What brands of SMT equipment do your Splice Tapes work with?

You normally will work with our splice tapes and accessories with most of the leading brands of SMT machines like – Panasonic, Fuji, Siemens, Juki, Yamaha, Samsung, etc.

⁠Are your products compatible with paper and plastic carrier tapes?

One of most common questions we get is this one, and the answer is, Yes. All our shims and splices can be used with paper and embossed plastic carrier tapes in a range of widths including 8mm, 12mm, 16mm and higher sizes.

How do I decide between single splice tape and double splice tape?

Single splice tape may be faster to apply, but double splice tape has more accuracy and reliability. Your production rate and machine will, in general, dictate which is best.

Can your leader tape extenders reduce machine downtime?

Absolutely. Leader tape extenders help preload feeders before reel changeovers, cutting down machine stoppage and increasing production uptime.

We keep things flexible. Most products are available in packs or reels with low minimum order quantities to suit both large and small batch production needs.
